At TJX Europe, we have teams of Data & Anaytics experts across our business transforming how data is used to improve efficiency, optimise processes and support strategic initiatives. Throughout your placement you’ll be based in one of our head office functions (including Marketing, Customer Service, Finance or Logistics) where you’ll contribute to live Data and Analytics work that delivers tangible business value, while developing your SQL / Python skills.

Students on a sandwich degree

In a numerate, analytical or data-focused degree

SQL / Python skills

Interest and / or early experience in data & analytics tools are essential

Analytical Mindset

You enjoy breaking down problems, exploring data and drawing simple, logical conclusions

Comfortable working with large datasets

You have strong attention to detail, data accuracy and can learn new tools quickly

Strong Communication skills

You can translate findings into simple, meaningful messages for non-technical audiences

Curious and proactive

You're eager to understand key business drivers and commercial performance

Organised and Delivery-Focused

You can take the initiative, balance lots of changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible in your approach.

What to expect from the programme

No matter which of our head office functions you’re based in, you’ll receive structured training, support and access to the necessary tools and platforms (including SQL, Python, Snowflake and Power BI) whilst being an active part of our Data & Analytics community.

You’ll get to explore and analyse large datasets and support the development of clear, actionable insights, translating data into simple, meaningful recommendations for stakeholders. This will also give you the opportunity to take ownership of smaller, well-defined pieces of work from start to finish, supported by experienced team members, giving you the confidence to deliver independently while learning best practices.
