Risk & Compliance Placement

Throughout your 12 month placement programme, you’ll rotate around key risk domains in either the Risk Assurance or Product Compliance team. Supporting the delivery of strategic programmes and initiatives, you’ll learn key technical knowledge, build relationships across different geographies and gain hands-on experience in how we manage and reduce risk in our global business. Throughout your placement, you’ll work alongside a collaborative team who’ll support your development every step of the way.

What to expect from the programme

Whether you’re placed in Risk Assurance or Product Compliance throughout the 12 month Placement Programmes, you’ll support our Risk & Compliance team in enabling our Global TJX business operating model.

In Risk Assurance, you’ll support in ensuring that we have the right systems, frameworks and governance in place for our supplier-related activities; understanding the impacts of our people, processes, technology, data and assets on our business continuity plans; and even getting involved in documenting enterprise-wide risks and controls and maintaining TJX’s Risk taxonomy by partnering with our Legal and Internal Audit teams.

In Product Compliance, you’ll support key strategic work that ensures the organisation understands and complies with regulations and safety standards; addresses short and medium term priorities in the market and at TJX and facilitates trading opportunity and business growth. This could involve supporting risk-assessments which balance compliance requirements, regulatory impact and commercial decision-making; providing training and guidance to the business as well as communicating legislation changes.
