If merchandising and buying is your thing, this 12-month placement is the one to get excited about. It’s where you’ll discover why the partnership between both disciplines is key to our success, and how they both impact on our results. You’ll also learn why our entrepreneurial approach delivers exceptional value to our customers so effectively.
You’ll start with a comprehensive induction, then combine classroom learning with store visits, team meetings and workshops. All while enjoying the support of a skilled network including your manager, a mentor and a buddy who’ll all help develop your relationship skills and technical know-how.
There’s no point learning if you can’t put it all into practice. So, you’ll spend time as an allocation analyst, helping to drive sales through detailed sales pattern analyses, while learning to source and buy goods, anticipate trends, spot opportunities and manage risk. You’ll then go on to spend time with our buying team at the end of your placement year with TJX.
