We’ve compiled the questions we get asked most often about the application process in general, and our graduate programmes, placements, and apprenticeships in particular.
Please submit all applications via our website. Sorry, but we can’t accept applications any other way.
There isn’t one. None of our programmes have a closing date for applications as we hire on a rolling basis. The sooner you get your application in, the better.
All offers to our programmes are made for the current academic year. In some exceptional circumstances we can defer offers, but this would need to be reviewed on an individual basis.
Everyone attending an assessment centre has the opportunity to receive full feedback on their performance via a telephone call. Unfortunately, it isn’t possible for us to provide individual feedback to those who are not invited to an assessment centre.
No, we encourage you to identify the one programme that’s most suitable for you, and only apply to that one.
We accept and encourage applications from all degree disciplines. The most important thing we look for is interest and passion for the business area you’re applying for and the retail sector in general. For full details about what we’re looking for in applicants, please see each relevant programme page.
If you’re applying for an apprenticeship, you should not have a degree in the programme that you’re applying for.
Yes, you’re still eligible to apply for our European graduate programmes.
Unfortunately, TJX Europe is currently unable to offer work experience or internships. If you’re going into your third year of study, you may like to consider our placement programmes.
Where a candidate has been successful in the recruitment selection process, we’ll consider sponsoring a work permit where this is required.
We take pride in associates wanting to further their careers with TJX and we’re always open to internal candidates applying to any of our Early Careers programmes. You will need to make a formal application through our website just like everyone else. And you’ll need to get your line manager to endorse your application.
Unfortunately, you can’t submit more than one application in the same academic year. However, you’re more than welcome to re-apply for any of our programmes in the following academic year. Should you choose to re-apply, you’ll go through the same recruitment process as the other candidates.
We aim to provide you with a final outcome within three months of your initial application. Every application is read by a member of our Early Careers team.
All graduates on our programmes will be based at our Watford Campus. However, we adopt a hybrid working pattern where you will work between the office and from home/elsewhere dependent on your workload, team and weeks activities.
