Graduate, Finance Analyst
I joined TJX on the graduate finance programme. During this time, I experienced three of the four core finance functions. Rotating across these functions was hugely beneficial as I was unsure which area would interest me most and this gave me a holistic view of finance at TJX. My first year was in financial accounts where I broadened my understanding of core accounting standards and principles.
I then spent a year in commercial finance looking after head office expenses, where I began to business partner with key functions and support business decisions. My final rotation was in the business planning team, where I further understood the importance of sales forecasting and budgeting. Alongside these rotations, TJX offered the fantastic opportunity of becoming CIMA qualified. I am now in a permanent role in financial control as a fully-qualified finance analyst. The graduate programme has helped me develop on a personal and professional level and has prepared me for a successful career in finance.
