What to expect from the programme

Your placement will start with a comprehensive induction, after which a series of workshops and training programmes will accelerate your ability to take on responsibility. You’ll get the opportunity to join a team and develop an in-depth knowledge of one of these four key areas:

Commercial Finance – partnering with multiple functions to deliver analyses that support business decisions and help manage costs

Business Planning and Analysis – producing vital strategic plans and assessing the viability of proposed business initiatives

Financial Control – working with merchandising and buying teams to deliver gross margin plans while ensuring the financial integrity of the stock ledger

Financial Accounting – focusing on the core principles of accounting and partnering with a wide range of functions throughout the business.

Wherever your placement takes you, you’ll get invaluable training, both on and off the job. We want to see the difference you can make, so you’ll have plenty of practical opportunities to put your new abilities to the test. If you do this successfully, you could earn a place on our european graduate programme.

After completing your placement year with us, you will have the opportunity to re-join our business on the finance graduate programme.
